As a director based in the NY/Tri State area, I am very actor-centered in my work whether it be on stage or in the independent/educational screen projects I gravitate towards. Having spent decades acting in regional theatre and in front of the camera, I understand and cherish the challenges of creating under pressure, what actors need as well as always having the producing "big picture" in focus. My success has all to do with surrounding myself with the most creative people I can find (designers, actors, cinematographers, editors, musicians) and allowing them to teach me what each story will become.
